Lead Analyst, Climate Change and Energy
Sarah Wykes is the Lead Analyst on Climate Change and Energy for the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD), which works with partners in 37 countries. She has 15 years of experience working with international development and human rights organisations, including at the board level. She currently leads CAFOD’s policy advocacy for universal access to modern energy and for a global shift to low carbon energy systems to build climate resilient and inclusive development. This includes CAFOD’s collaboration with IIED and local partners on designing energy services for poor groups and a research collaboration with ODI on energy safety nets (social protection approaches to delivering energy access). She is also a founding member of ACCESS and sits on the Coordination Group.
