Dr. Olivier Lompo has expertise in energy, environmental, geography, and geographic information systems. After receiving his PhD at the University of Naples in Italy, Dr. Lompo served as a Teacher-Researcher at the University of Ouagadougou for the Department of Geography. Dr. Lompo currently leads UNHCR Burkina Faso's energy and environment program till 2012. He previously work in Eastern Chad in Farchana, Bredjing Treguine, and Gaga Sudanese refugee camps. During his tenure working in refugee camps, Dr. Lompo served as an associate environmental and livelihood officer.
