Manlio Coviello is the Chief of Natural Resources and Energy at the Economic regional Commission of Latin America of the United Nations in Santiago, Chile. He is currently Special Advisor to the President of the Energy Commission of the Latin American Parliament. He is also a member of the Coordinating Committee of SE4ALL/Americas, a permanent member of the Presidential Commission on Lithium in Chile and Assistant Professor in Energy Planning at the Catholic University of Chile. Until now, he has provided strategic advisory to Energy Ministers and Presidents of Energy regulatory in 19 Latin American countries, prepared more than 30 international publications on energy issues and acted as a Senior Fellow Professor in the E3 cluster (Earth, Energy and & Environment) of IASS-Potsdam. Coviello holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics at Genoa University and a Master in Business Administration at the Bocconi University in Milan.
