African Mini-Grid Developers Association
Jessica Stephens serves as Global Coordinator for the African Mini-Grid Developers Association, representing mini-grid developers of sustainable and renewable energy solutions for rural electrification in Africa. Stephens is an entrepreneur with nearly a decade of experience starting-up & running business in East Africa. She has over 12 years of experience working in rural and peri-urban African communities, in an array of capacities in in private, non-profit, and government sectors. She drives AMDA’s agenda to advocate and coordinate with industry, policymakers, government authorities and other stakeholders to ensure optimal development of the mini-grid sector and its pivotal role in ensuring access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all Africans.
