Andrea Voigt was appointed in 2009 as Director General of the European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE), the voice of the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump industry in Europe. Headquartered in Brussels, EPEE represents 48 companies, national and international associations from Europe, Asia and North America. Under Voigt's leadership, EPEE has become one of the leading associations of the sector. It is also a member of several major European and international initiatives such as the Climate and Clean Air Coalition) and ICARHMA (International Council of Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heating Manufacturers Associations). It is also partnering with UNEP on several projects. Prior to joining EPEE, Voigt worked in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry for more than 20 years, holding functions in the fields of marketing, communication and public relations. A German national, she is fluent in English and French, holding degrees in public administration (M.P.A), applied linguistic science (M.A.) and marketing (Oxford College of Marketing).
